Our Mission
The Loess Hills of western Iowa are home to one of the rarest ecosystems in North America β ancient wind-deposited hills covered in native tallgrass prairie. Less than 1% of Iowa's original prairie remains. Our project exists to change that.
Through hands-on restoration, community education, and dedicated stewardship, we are working to bring back the native grasses, wildflowers, and wildlife that defined this landscape for thousands of years.
